September is a month that brings awareness to cancer, and I wanted to make this first month Reiki Giveback especially meaningful.

This September, I’m gifting one complimentary Reiki session to TWO individuals who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. 💙

If you or someone you love is currently going through cancer treatment, I’d like to offer a quiet space to pause, breathe, rest, and receive some gentle support during what can be an incredibly difficult time.

This offering is not intended to treat or cure cancer. Reiki is offered as a complementary wellness practice and a peaceful opportunity for relaxation and support alongside medical care.

✨ Help Me Plan Something Special for 2027! ✨

I’m beginning to dream up THREE very special gatherings for women in 2027 — one in Spring, one in Summer, and one in Fall — and I’d love your input as I start putting the pieces together. 💙

These will be Pixie Nook events held outside of the shop, in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by trees, open space, and the peaceful energy of the outdoors.

I’m envisioning each gathering as a special day to step away from the everyday hustle and come together with other women for connection, creativity, nature and a little magic. 🌿✨

Each seasonal gathering will include:

🌸 A hands-on creative project — something meaningful that you’ll make and take home with you

🌿 A seasonal offering — inspired by the time of year, nature and the energy of the season

🔔 A relaxing sound bath — time to quiet the mind, relax and simply receive

💙 Women gathering together — conversation, connection, laughter and the opportunity to meet and share space with like-minded women

☀️ Time outdoors — enjoying a beautiful setting where we can slow down and reconnect with ourselves and each other

And because this is a three-part seasonal series, each event will have its own theme, project and seasonal experience. The Spring gathering will feel different from Summer, and Summer will be different from Fall.

But before I get too far into planning, I need your help with one important detail…

The moon is reaching her fullest glow on August 27th, inviting us to pause, reflect, and honor how far we have come. 🌙

The August Full Moon is traditionally known as the Sturgeon Moon — a moon connected with abundance, strength, wisdom, and the gifts that come from the journey we have traveled. 🌿✨

While the New Moon invites us to plant seeds and set intentions, the Full Moon is a time to look at what has grown, what has blossomed, and what is ready to be released.

This moon asks:

🌕 What am I grateful for?
🌿 What growth can I celebrate?
🦋 What no longer belongs in my next chapter?
✨ What wisdom have I gained along the way?

A simple Full Moon ritual you can try:

🌿✨ I am so excited to finally share that I found a wonderful artisan who creates completely handmade walking sticks in small batches!

Each walking stick is crafted by Creation Carvings, a family-owned workshop in Missouri that began as a hobby in 2008 as a healthier alternative to television and video games.

The wood is harvested, kiln-dried, and hand-carved in the historic Ozarks of America. Every design is an original creation and is never machine replicated, making each walking stick truly one of a kind.

When The Pixie Nook reopens in September, you'll find a small collection of these beautiful walking sticks in the shop.

Whether you're wandering forest trails, exploring your favorite hiking path, or simply looking for a handcrafted companion for your journey, I think you're going to love these as much as I do.
