Here's a dumb story for yah:
I get asked a lot if I tattoo myself. Like. Every other day 😂
Sometimes if my body can bend the stupid ways to be able to appropriately tattoo myself then I absolutely I will.
& maybe if I'm manic enough 😂
I absolutely love when its my turn to finally get tattooed by another artist. It feels like a vacation to me. Does it hurt? Of course it does. Is it worth it? Abso-freakin-lutely it is. Do I enjoy it even when I'm regretting it because of the pain? Heck yeah I do.
This was my first ever tattoo I did on myself at the beginning of Covid. I was still in my tattoo apprenticeship at the time. Had a small clientele. I had already missed being at work so much already that I went by the shop, grabbed my tattoo machine and other things to keep it sanitary. I wrapped everything I used in my home in heavy amounts of saran-wrap. Keep it safe, keep it clean⚔️
& at the time I had a ex-friend draw it on me with a sharpie & then I tattooed it.
Its not a crazy design or anything, didnt take long, wasn't terrible tattooing myself. I was proud of how the ugly little guy turned out. I couldn't find a fresh photo of the design right after I tattooed it unfortunately. The 2nd photo pictured is about almost 6 years into it being healed. I'm glad I finally spent the 30mins to touch the tiny bad boi up finally & make him look like less crap 😂🫡 (I think this thing took me like 2 hours originally to tattoo it 🤣)
Oh how I've grown so much in tattooing. I never want to stop learning & growing.
Give the tiny tattoos even the most of love as well as the big ones.
Come see me if you wanna revamp any of your old tattoos or have any new tattoo ideas you wanna chat about!
Hope all of you wonderful people are having a great day! Thanks for reading about my nonsense.
