Kasey's Cancer Journey February 6th, 2023 I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. March 1st I started chemotherapy.

I created this page as a way to keep everyone updated on my journey. �

1 year ago today......last round of chemo!!!!!

After my 6 month PET scan & a trip today to the ENT to scope my throat, I can very happily say, my body is N.E.D.!!!!!!!

Pretty swollen & bruised today. The incision looks pretty good though. :) Nap time.

Did I want to do it today? No. Did it feel good? No. Did I feel good after? Still no. But I did it. And I will keep doing it. Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it. My life changed drastically in a matter of weeks. Do I know what the future holds, no, none of us do, but every day I wake up is another day to make my body better. And I intend to take every advantage if it. GO OUTSIDE! GO FOR A WALK!
