Last year Joe Robbins was unable to attend our awards for Unsung Hero. Mr. Robbins has been great to work with at our Bi-County classroom that is in his building. We appreciate all of his hard work and dedication to helping students with disabilities. Here is what the students and teacher wrote about Mr. Robbins.

Mr. Robbins is the MJHS principal and I have been the teacher for the Bi-County Life Skills for the last 3 years. He not only a great principal to his Morrison students, but he goes above and beyond to include our life skills students as well. He takes time out of each day to talk and socialize with our students as well as help them in any way possible. He invites our students to all junior high events and doesn't treat our staff or students any different. He goes out of his way to interact with our students even though he is always busy with other duties. He will lend supplies, print posters, and do about anything to benefit Bi-County and our students and staff. In my students and staff's eyes, he is an unsung hero that is very much appreciated. He always make us feel part of the Morrison team and not outsiders as a Bi-County employee. Thank you for all you do Mr. Robbins!

What an amazing night, recognizing the Bi-County Foundation Unsung Heroes and awarding scholarships. It is a great opportunity to recognize those who commit their time and energy to serving the special education students in the bi-county area as well as supporting those who hope to do so in the future.
