Release what no longer serves—my tribe did this by writing them on paper that we burned to release them into the ether.

Let go and let the universe conspire to bring you what moves you into a new phase. We wrote down our intentions on colorful paper so the universe can conspire with us and placed them on our alters (aka sacred space).

Soul work happens while tending a garden. We connect with Mother Nature and the rhythms of her seasons. By nurturing a garden we repair Mother Earth by inviting all her creatures to enjoy the bounty found in simple seeds that burst forward. Quietly, we too are repairing our mind, body, and soul.

Invite your soul back to a well tended garden.

My special guest today in my garden. Oh the grandkids are going to love George! I love having a garden haven for wildlife. I hope they feel safe and well fed. I never use herbicides or pesticides. Every veggie or fruit is grown with care and love—most from nurtured seeds. This little guy will help keep unwanted pests out of my garden. I feel very fortunate today for the visit. I hope he finds a comfortable home in my humble garden.

What to do with all that produce…especially the squash that grows to the size of baseball bat overnight? Make relish and preserve it for later via canning. Everything in these jars (except for the onions) came from my garden. When you grow and preserve your own produce you avoid things like the cyclosporiasis outbreak from (allegedly) eating lettuce. You also know what is and isn’t in your food. I have a very humble garden that feeds me in so many ways—from the produce we eat to the zen feelings when I’m in the garden to that incredible feeling when I’m connected to Mother Earth’s soul (soil).
