How to Adjust Your Skincare Routine Around Your Workouts 🏋🏼♀️
One of the questions I get asked most often is how to fit skincare around your gym schedule. The good news? It doesn’t have to be complicated.
☀️ Morning Workout
Don’t apply your entire routine just to sweat it off.
Before your workout:
• Cleanse
• Hydrate
• SPF
Keep it simple, but don’t skip it completely. Washing away your nighttime products and giving your skin hydration and protection helps support a healthy skin barrier during your workout.
Skipping moisturizer can leave skin dehydrated, irritated, and trigger excess oil production and inflammation.
🏃 Midday Workout
Before your workout:
• Remove makeup
• Hyacyn
After your workout:
• Cleanse
• Hydrate
• SPF
This helps remove sweat, oil, and makeup while keeping your skin protected for the rest of the day.
🌙 Night Workout
Before your workout:
• Remove makeup
• Hyacyn
After your workout:
• Complete your full nighttime skincare routine
💡 Most Important Rule:
Cleanse your skin as soon as possible after sweating. This includes your face, chest, back, and body.
Sweat sitting on the skin can contribute to congestion, irritation, and breakouts.
Can’t shower right away?
