What a beautiful day outside! ☀️ Mid-70s and sunny.. you really can't ask for much better than that!

Stop in and grab a cold drink, maybe something to puff on, and then head home to enjoy the afternoon. Or maybe pick up a new disc and sneak in a round while the weather is perfect.

Whatever gets you outside and enjoying the day, we're here to help make it happen.

We're open until 7 PM, so swing by and keep Brady company for a bit! 😄🥏🍹🌿

Well... yesterday we made a post about being in the people business.

A short time later, someone really needed help, and being in the people business meant closing the store for the day. Not exactly ideal timing, especially with construction already making things challenging around here, but some things are more important than sales. People will always come first!

We're back open today from 10am–7pm, so stop in, say hi to Brady, and if you're out and about, show a little love to the other Southside businesses too. We all appreciate it more than you know.

Also, some resident mallards have officially moved in. 🦆

They've built a nest in the flower bed to the left of the store. Please give them plenty of space and avoid getting too close. If you need to park right up front, please use the right side with the flowers rather than the bare area to the left where mama duck is nesting. She's under the Mullein(weed)

Ya know...

Running a business has taught us something we never expected...

The work is actually the easy part!

Unpacking boxes of discs. Stocking crystals. Mixing up the mocktail section. Changing Kombucha kegs, Learning about new CBD and THC products. Cleaning, organizing, building displays, and keeping the shelves full. That's all pretty straightforward.

People are the hard part. 🤷‍♂️

Not because people are bad.. quite the opposite actually! We're all just trying to figure life out. We all have different experiences, different struggles, different beliefs, and different ways of looking at the world.

Every day people walk through our doors looking for different things. Some are looking for pain relief. Some are looking for a new disc. Some are looking for a crystal that caught their eye. Some are just looking for someone to talk to.

And honestly, that's our favorite part. 😃

Because at the end of the day, we're not really in the disc golf business. We're not really in the crystal business. We're not really in the CBD, THC, or mocktail business.

We're in the people business. 🫂

The products are just what bring us together.

We're incredibly grateful for all the support our community has shown us over the years. Honestly, we had no idea just how much this construction would impact traffic and the day-to-day reality for small businesses on the south side. That support is what's going to help us weather this storm.

Like our friends at Bow Wow Meow, we're still here, still open, and still showing up every day. The construction won't last forever, and when it's over we'll all be stronger for it.

If you're out and about, consider making an extra effort to support the small businesses on the south side. Every stop, every purchase, and every share truly makes a difference right now.

🥺Feeling defeated isn't going to get us down for long. 🚧 ALL south side businesses are OPEN and ready for customers. 🚘 We get that the construction might seem scary, but we're here and ready to go. Work has been stalled since Monday waiting on parts, today was supposed to be different. Extremely low sales numbers are an unfortunate reality right now, but that just means we need to work harder to stay positive and keep moving forward. The one thing we can control is our attitude, and that's exactly what we're focusing on.
