☀️ Is something stopping you from your summer plans?

For one Wisconsin family, a steep hill between their vacation rental and the lake could have meant missing out on cherished summer memories.

Instead, with the help of a mobility scooter provided by MILC, they were able to enjoy their time together.

"Without the scooter you provided, we would not be able to go because my husband is now handicapped. We so very much appreciate this service."

Stories like this are why MILC travels across Central and Northern Wisconsin delivering assistive technology and support directly to the people who need it.

We are proud to partner with myTEAM TRIUMPH - Wisconsin Chapter, whose mission is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy of crossing a finish line. Through adaptive equipment and dedicated volunteers, athletes of all abilities can participate and be part of the excitement!

June is LGBTQ Pride Month in Wisconsin. Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate inclusion and acceptance. While we have made progress in advancing equality, more remains to be done. Registering to vote and casting a ballot is an important way for all citizens to participate in our democracy and help to advance equality and inclusion.

🍳 Summer is almost here, and so is Ready, Set, Cook! 👩‍🍳✨

In just a couple of weeks, we'll be welcoming a new group of aspiring chefs into the kitchen for six weeks of hands-on learning, confidence-building, and fun!

Chefs will learn practical cooking skills, kitchen safety, meal preparation, budgeting, and more - all in a supportive environment designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
