At Family Farm Beef, our bird operation has officially expanded into a full-blown country music retirement community.

🏨 The Bolivar Bellagio
Home of our high-class laying hens, where breakfast is produced daily by country legends like:
• Loretta Hen
• Dolly Poultron
• Tammy Wyandotte
• Reba Cluckentire

These ladies run a tight ship. Egg production is strong, drama is stronger, and somebody is always yelling before sunrise.

👑 Duckingham Palace
The royal residence of our ducks, led by the undisputed vocal queen herself:
• Ducky Hinson

Just like Becky Hinson and The Nashville Palace Band is the Queen of the Nashville Palace, our Ducky Hinson takes center stage here, which features luxury mud puddles, elite bug control, and synchronized waddling & singing performances twice daily. Security remains low because nobody here can fly very well.

🍗 The Meatbird Marriott
Where our meat birds enjoy the all-inclusive lifestyle: fresh pasture, nonstop buffet access, and very limited cardio expectations.
It’s peaceful, efficient, and honestly the happiest group of birds you’ll ever see standing around a feeder.

We’ve worked hard building these coops and expanding the farm, and it’s been a fun new chapter alongside our beef operation. More updates coming soon from the inmates at Wholesome Prison. 🤠

Hey y’all, Lil Mac here!

It’s been one whole week at my new home and it’s time for a proper farm report. The grass? Absolutely incredible. The treats? Even better. This family of mine sure knows how to make a little bull feel right at home.
Now, my chicken friends have this stairs and swing situation that I am not okay with. Consider it my personal mission to keep those things down. A bull’s gotta have standards.

I’m working on my halter training so I can come meet all of you wonderful folks but for now I’m taking it one grass blade at a time.

Grass Fed vs. Grain Fed 👇🏻

We get this question all the time so let’s break it down.

Grass fed means cattle eat a diet of only grass and forage. It typically comes with open pasture access and a more natural lifestyle for the animal.

Grain fed means cattle are fed grain, often in a feedlot setting and yeah, it carries the reputation that they never see a pasture.

Here’s what we do: pasture-raised with a grain finish. Our cattle spend their days out on grass, living their best lives and then we finish them on grain. That finishing process is what gives our beef that rich, buttery flavor and beautiful marbling that our customers keep coming back for.

Honestly? We think it’s the best of both worlds. 🐄
