Specializing in burnout, chronic stress, anxiety and coping patterns. I’m Randi Welch (she/her) and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Master’s level Licensed Certified Addiction Counselor (LCADC) on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. When I started Refined Wellness, I knew I wanted to do something different. I wanted my practice to reflect my unique s
kills and insights with an emphasis on holistic approaches and evidence based treatments. I guide humans towards improved wellbeing by finding balance in their routines + implementing holistic wellness habits into their hectic lives. My ideal clients are women in their mid twenties to mid forties, the full spectrum of working/stay-at-home mothers, and those balancing multiple high-stress roles in their lives. I am a wife, a dog mom, and a parent of two children under the age of 5. As a human being, I embrace natural remedies and lifestyle while also not shying away from tools and systems that make my life as easy as possible when needed, it's a delicate balance! I have worked full time as a clinician in the mental health field for the past 8 years, throughout both of my pregnancies and into toddlerhood with my children. I know first hand that balancing life, wellness, relationships, children, and a career is HARD work. I focus on using integrative methods of therapy and holistic approaches to meet my individual client’s needs because we are ALL so different and what works for me or someone else might not work for you! The field of psychology is constantly evolving. I like to call myself a “lifetime student” and I focus on keeping up with the latest research through reading books, articles, and training with the world-leaders in the field. When I’m not working, you can find me reading, cooking in the kitchen, out walking my dog, playing with trucks or Legos with my kids, watching the latest Netflix show with my husband, or talking on the phone with my mom or my grandmother. Refined Wellness allows me to really practice what I preach by giving me the flexibility to do the things I love both personally and professionally to create a balance in my overall life. We all deserve a little help sometimes, and that’s what may have led you here. If you’re feeling like something has got to give but you don’t know what, reach out. I know your time and money is valuable so I try to be as structured and goal-oriented as possible. I enjoy hearing how well my clients are doing and seeing their progress in treatment. I am SO glad you are here!!
