This past week we Hosted Stillwater Chamber Business After Hours.
For those who may not know us, Cornerstone Caregiving is a non-medical, private-duty, in-home care company. We provide care right in the comfort of our clients’ homes, helping with bathing, dressing, toileting, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor’s appointments, and so much more.
We are also proudly partnered with the VA, which allows us to provide care to our veterans right in their homes. It is such an honor to be able to serve the men and women who have served our country.
Our Stillwater office actually turned three years old back in April! We didn’t get a chance to celebrate then because we were right in the middle of moving into this beautiful new office—and at the same time, we began providing over 2,000 hours of care every single week!
Needless to say, we had a LOT going on!
So today gives us the opportunity to finally celebrate, and I could not be more proud of how far we have come.
First, I want to thank my husband, Travis.
Travis, thank you for supporting me through these past three years and allowing me to do what I truly love—providing the best care possible to our clients.
This job isn’t always 8 to 5. It’s phones ringing at all hours, late-night assessments, late nights at the office, working weekends, and sometimes working seven days a week. There have been a lot of long days and a lot of sacrifices along the way.
And through all of it, you have supported me and encouraged me to keep going.
I could not have done these past three years without you, and I want you to know how much that means to me.
Second, I want to give a huge thank you to my girls in the office.
I truly could not do this without you. There are so many moving parts to what we do every single day, and you all work so hard behind the scenes to make sure our clients, caregivers, and families are taken care of.
You have stood beside me through the busy days, the stressful days, the late nights, and everything in between. I am so thankful for each and every one of you, and I am incredibly proud of the team we have built.
I also want to thank our incredible caregivers.
You are the ones who walk through the doors of our clients’ homes every day and make a difference in their lives.
What you do matters.
You are caring for someone’s mom, dad, husband, wife, grandmother, grandfather, or loved one. The compassion, dedication, patience, and love you give to our clients is what Cornerstone is all about.
I am so grateful for every one of you and for the care you provide every single day.
Finally, I want to thank all of our referral sources and families for trusting Cornerstone Caregiving with the people you love.
That trust means everything to us.
When you refer someone to us or allow us into your home to care for your loved one, you are trusting us with something incredibly important. We never take that trust for granted.
We are honored every day to be a part of your families’ lives and to have the opportunity to make life a little easier for the people we serve.
Three years is a big milestone, but I truly believe we are just getting started.
I am so proud of our team. I am proud of what we have built here in Stillwater, and I am excited about what the future holds for Cornerstone Caregiving.
When I look around this room tonight, I see the people who have helped make this possible—my husband, my team, our caregivers, our referral partners, our families, and the people who have believed in us along the way.
Thank you for believing in us. And most importantly, thank you for allowing us to do what we love—caring for others.
