Beliefs are not truth but we often hold them like so, wrapping our minds in a security blanket but it’s a false sense of security.

Safety and security is a feeling in the cells in the energy bodies; it cannot be faked or bought or believed. It can only be lived.

What’s the safest way to live? What if it’s living from your heart?

The struggle is real AND, wouldn’t you rather struggle to live a life your heart loves than believe that security comes from doing what you think you should be doing?

Pick your hard, they say, how about, Pick your heart?

Should — Shoulders shrugs, shouldering, the weight of the world. No more shoulds.

What if we dropped into our hearts and danced with our dreams? There is security there, isn’t it? Can you feel it?

Excited to close out the Summer Word + Sound Healing series. We will explore how to express ourselves through poetry and sound on Monday from 5:30-7…this is only 2 days before the New Moon in Leo which is also a solar eclipse…so this session will definitely connect with support with integration, processing, and letting go before you prepare for New Moon energy!

The second session of Healing through Words & Sound is tomorrow from 5:30-7pm at Oakdale Nature Perserve. Take some time for pause, reflection, and integration. Expand your emotional vocabulary and enjoy a healing sound bath with community.

Upcoming Events + the Cosmic Current (THUR•SAT•MON)!

On Thursday (tomorrow) when Mercury goes direct in Cancer, join us for a special Tea & Poetry event at ArtReach from 6-8pm. 2 spots left. Sit in community and see what messages have steeped through the past month of the retrograde period. A question to hold: Where does raw emotional energy turn into structured growth? How about a poem? We will explore what insight is arising with a Japanese form of poetry that is like the haiku but has two extra lines to expand emotional depth. During the free writing time, you can engage with this poetry form or however you feel inspired to write. Bring a journal and pen or something to write with (laptop).

On Saturday, the day before Saturn goes retrograde, there is a special Community Tea Ceremony at Healing Roots River Falls. On this day, energetically there is a heightened connection to your intuition, as well as to a more creative approach to initiating change in your life. Astrologically this day is strongly connected to the collective. Spending time in community can support your individual journey as well as fortify any bigger vision and plan you have set in motion. We will discuss Saturn Retrograde and how to best utilize this time while coming together for community healing.

On Monday, there is a ton of feisty energy in the air that can leave one feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. It is a great day to open yourself to unconventional methods, perhaps traveling to a place you do not expect (Oakdale, Minnesota?) Harness this energy productively by directing it toward quiet reflection, recharging yourself with a group sound bath (60 minutes). We will first work with our emotional bodies through connecting with different healing sounds and frequencies, as well as have time for writing (words)—setting our intentions and connecting with our emotional nature. This is session 2 of the Healing through Words and Sound series this summer at Oakdale Nature Preserve ✨

Welcome to Cosmonia, the space that holds it all for me, one I had to create because there was no name already existing that captures all that is changing inside and around me. A blog post will come soon once I’m back on schedule with writing again.

Until then, the web designer / creator / friend of mine who helped me with bringing to life a new website after taking a 4 year break (I haven’t had a website in 4 years!) wrote a sweet piece about working with me and the power of this work. Our first session of Healing through Words & Sound begins this evening on the Full Moon in Capricorn at 5:30pm. There are still a few spots left. Online registration is closed but feel free to DM for how to come if you find yourself pulled to be there.

Our words are so powerful! And so is sound! Putting these two practices together for a night of healing in community.
