TWO BIG HUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

First...Happy 18th Birthday to our daughter Opal!

You have grown up in the world of Tattooing. You made your first folder of sleeve ideas when you were 11 years old... and by the time you were 12 you had two folders, one for each arm.

You tried every way under the sun to talk us into letting you get tattooed before turning 18, and you handled being told no fairly well for all of those years.

So when you said that you wanted your first tattoo to be a full sleeve, I wasn't surprised.

Today was the day, and you sat like a champ. When you stopped me for a moment to ask if the specific tattoo technique that I just did was something that you heard me mention once...I knew that I made the right decision accepting you as my first TATTOO APPRENTICE.

I ain't gonna be easy on ya...it's going to be a 100% old school tattoo apprenticeship from the school of hard knocks, so you can wipe that smart ass grin off your face right now...
..but, you've earned it, and I'm proud of your hard headed punk ass.
