👩‍🦯 Thank you Mayor Fugazi & Stockton City Council and Supervisor Paul Canepa for taking part in our 8th Annual White Cane Awareness Walk & Celebration on October 10 and for presenting the proclamation and special recognition! It was an honor to walk with you to raise awareness of what it means to be blind.

The Nfb is waiting to write your name in braille at Valley Mountain Regional Center’s Disability and cultural fair, going on today until 2 PM! We have info about tomorrow’s White Cane Awareness Walk, courtesy rules of blindness and reading glasses as well as signature guides and Braille alphabet bookmarks.

👩‍🦯 The blind are looking forward to seeing you next Saturday! Experience what it’s like to take a short wander under blindfold (with a spotter for safety of course!) Engage in other free educational sensory activities. Meet the Blind Amateur Net Group (BANG)!

Join us for a special ceremony at 12 PM with a mayoral proclamation and then walk with the blind from the driveway of Delta College to Mountain Mike’s Robinhood! Fundraiser there goes on all day, show this digital flyer or mentioned the “NFB” at the register to help support!
