No one talks enough about the struggle of middle-aged women 😂🔥
One minute you’re thriving.
The next minute you’re standing in the kitchen holding a spoon, sweating aggressively, wondering why you walked in there… while eating chocolate directly from the bag for emotional support.
Perimenopause really said:
“Here’s anxiety, insomnia, brain fog, random rage, chin hairs, weight gain, and a hot flash so violent you’ll briefly believe you’re entering the gates of hell. Good luck, babe.” 🔥
Middle age is wild because:
* your hormones are fluctuating like the stock market
* your metabolism retired without a two-week notice
* your knees make weird noises now
* your bladder has become emotionally fragile
* your va**na becomes dry like the desert
* your back hurts and sounds like the tree branches moving in the wind
* your husband is breathing too loudly, and you wanna SCREAM
* and somehow people still expect you to answer the phone and emails professionally
Also…
Why are we waking up at 3AM every night like Victorian ghost children? 😂
Who approved the:
“Night sweats + existential crisis + replay every embarrassing moment since 1997” package??
And can someone explain why we can go from:
“I love everyone ❤️”
to
“Do NOT chew or breathe near me”
in under 14 seconds?
And despite ALL of this…
we’re still:
* working
* caregiving
* grocery shopping
* paying bills
* remembering everyone else’s appointments
* pretending we’re fine
* and fighting for our lives in the Walmart parking lot
Honestly, middle-aged women deserve:
* an all-inclusive vacation
* hormone support
* complete silence
* magnesium by the gallon
* someone else planning dinner
* a nap that lasts 4–6 business days
* and a national apology
But in all seriousness…
So many women in this season feel exhausted, overstimulated, burned out, unseen, and disconnected from themselves.
Not because they’re weak.
Because they’ve been carrying EVERYTHING for everyone for years.
Perimenopause isn’t “just hormones.”
It’s stress.
Pressure.
Mental load.
Sleep deprivation.
People-pleasing.
Caregiving.
Survival mode.
And emotional labor piled on top of shifting hormones.
If this season has felt heavy lately:
You are not alone.
You are not crazy.
And you are definitely not broken. 🌿
