We'll awaken your chakras, strengthen your body and help you find more balance within. I offer various forms of yoga classes from a sultry Slow Flow to Power Vinyasa, Buti Yoga and Primal Flow. Guided meditation savasana is incorporated into certain classes. Some practices will be heated, to loosen your muscles and help you sweat out toxins. (All will be indicated on the website.) I also offer introductions to various forms of breath work and meditation as well as fully guided meditation sessions. Please visit my website for a full list of offerings, prices and schedules. Welcome to the grand premiere of WTF Wednesday... brought to you on a Thursday. Because being on time is simply not in my cosmic blueprint and, quite honestly, punctuality is an illusion I stopped chasing years ago. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Plus, I spent half of yesterday deeply humbled after a run-in with a spicy little menace enjoying my sorghum. My nervous system got the memo long before my eyes did. And by ā€œmenace,ā€ I mean the unprovoked wrath of a Saddleback caterpillar (Acharia stimulea). šŸ›

Here’s some fun facts about one of nature’s spiciest gummy bears:
šŸ˜–Those bristly spines are hollow venomous needles that break off in your skin. So awesome.
ā€¼ļøThat neon high-vis sweater vest isn’t an outfit; it’s a dare.
😈They love chilling on the undersides of leaves, practically daring an unsuspecting target to brush against them.

Don’t worry! Today my boundaries are safely re-established…at least with the caterpillar…kids are a whole different story. 🫠

Ever been thoroughly humbled because nature woke up and chose violence against you? Tell me I’m not alone in the comments! šŸ‘‡šŸ¼šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

And remember!
Stay curious.
Don’t pet the spicy things.
And I’ll see you next Wednesday (give or take 24 hours) for more things that make me say WTF. 😱 āœŒšŸ¼

August really decided to test my reflexes. šŸ™ƒ

You ever successfully dodge a massive curveball, take a deep breath, and realize you’re standing directly in the middle of a four-lane highway? That’s been the vibe.

A sprained ankle managed to wake up my back injury, which turned the volume all the way up on physical pain and forced an immediate, non-negotiable pause.

When your body pulls the emergency brake, you have two choices: fight the stillness or ground into it. I chose the garden, slow breaths, and deep gratitude for the simple anchors that hold us when everything feels loud.

If your late summer has felt chaotic, heavy, or physically demanding, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m offering a few free 30-minute virtual calls this month. No pressure and no sales pitch. Just time to discuss where you’re struggling physically or mentally, and clarify what kind of support would actually help.

Comment RESET below and I’ll send the direct link to your DMs to grab a spot on my calendar. 🌿

You put months of sweat, water, and care into the soil. You plan for the sun, the compost, and the harvest.

You rarely plan for the freeloaders who show up uninvited to eat your hard work before you even get a bite.

Identifying who is actually living in your garden beds is half the battle. Swipe through to ID the eggs, beetles, and caterpillars that might be lurking under your leaves (or on your trellises) right now.

Knowing the difference between a friend and a foe keeps you ahead of the damage before a whole vine goes down.

Which one of these has given you the biggest headache this season? Drop it below. šŸ‘‡

Coincidence that my namesake plant (Melissa officinalis) is fiercely resilient, smells incredible, and refuses to be ignored? I think not. ✨

Lemon balm is easily one of the most rewarding herbs you can grow. Zero fussy care routines, massive harvests, and serious herbal support right outside your door.

Why she earns a permanent spot in the garden:
🌿 Soothes the Nervous System — Renowned for easing nervous tension, calming an overactive mind, and helping you shift out of fight-or-flight.
🌿 Supports Restful Sleep — A gentle, non-groggy ally for evening wind-downs and deeper rest.
🌿 Calms the Gut — Relaxes digestive spasms, eases bloating, and supports digestion when stress hits your stomach.
🌿 Lifts the Spirit — The bright citrus aromatics offer an instant mood boost just by crushing a leaf between your fingers.
🌿 Kitchen & Cupboard Staple — Perfect for fresh summer iced teas, dried herbal blends, skin salves, or botanical honey infusions.

Fair warning: Give her a defined boundary—she will claim her space.

Save this for your next nursery trip, and drop a 🌿 below if you’re adding Melissa to your garden this year! šŸ‹šŸŒ±

Rainy days bring out the good stuff. šŸŒæšŸ„

Scored a substantial haul of Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) near the garden!

But remember rule #1 of foraging: if you’re 99% sure, you’re 0% sure.

Quick ID Check:
Top: Concentric bands of earthy tones with a velvety texture.
Bottom: Flip it over! Look for tiny, distinct pores—never gills, never smooth.

Why it’s worth foraging:
✨Immune Power: Packed with PSK & PSP polysaccharides to activate key immune cells.
✨Gut Health: Rich in prebiotic fibers that feed your beneficial microbiome.
✨Cellular Defense: High in potent antioxidants to combat daily stress.

These are currently drying to be ground down for a functional, wild-foraged infused honey dropping in The Apothecary this fall. šŸāœØ

This is what it actually looks like to feed yourself from the wild. There’s no gentle breeze—just thick summer heat, clothes soaked in an ungodly amount of sweat, dirt in all the places, and giant Japanese beetles bouncing off my forehead. This is the real work, and it’s spectacular. 🌿✨

There is nothing quite like looking at a wild patch and knowing exactly which berries are the sweetest and how to navigate the thorns…most of the time.

This isn’t just about a free snack; it’s about a direct line to the ground beneath my feet.

Knowing how to look at the wild around you and recognize what can feed you and what can heal you is a lost art. It’s empowering, it’s primal, and it’s a total game-changer.

I don’t just want to eat the wild; I want to understand it.

That’s why I’m putting together something new: hands-on sessions teaching you how to safely identify, harvest, and use common plants for food and natural healing.

No pristine garden gloves or perfect aesthetics required—just real, gritty, dirt-under-your-fingernails skill.

This isn’t on the website yet (we’re still busy fighting beetles 🦟), but I’m gauging interest!

If you’re ready to learn how to truly forage and build your own wild medicine chest, drop a šŸ”„ in the comments. I’ll add you to the ā€œEarly Accessā€ list so you get the details first.

We spend so much time trying to force our lives into the boxes we built for ourselves years ago.

Spoiler alert: Life laughed at my plans, handed me a reality that is infinitely louder, busier, and heavier than I anticipated, and a family that clearly doesn't know how to sit still for a normal photo. šŸ™ƒ

My life over the last few years has been a masterclass in letting go of who I thought I was supposed to be, so I could finally meet the person I actually am. Is it a little unhinged? Maybe.
šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø See the last slide. šŸ¤—
But it is real. And I have never been more grateful to be so completely wrong.

If your life looks nothing like your old daydreams, stop looking backward. Stop holding out for a "perfect" version of your life and start leaning into the unique gifts you've actually been handed. It is so much better over here on the unscripted side. Trust me.

An old friend recently called me out on my personal page for apparently promoting a strict routine. The funny part? The story had already expired by the time I saw it—so clearly, my own schedule wasn't rigid enough to check my notifications on time. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

It was a great reminder of how easily we default to a robotic mindset.

Modern society expects us to operate like machines, outsourcing our intuition to calendar alerts and fixed schedules.

But we aren’t built that way. We are organic beings—part of nature—and nature moves in cycles, responds to the moment, and trusts the flow.

True well-being cannot survive on a strict checklist. It requires an adaptive cadence that protects your mental clarity and peace.

I’m digging into the shift from routine to rhythm in my latest journal piece, Cages vs Cadence. You can read the full thoughts through the link in my bio. šŸ”—

šŸ“£šŸ“£ If you got a "closed" message yesterday when trying to join the Sol Rhythm Collective—the doors are officially back open. šŸ“£šŸ“£

I set a hard boundary for May 31, but the influx of messages yesterday from women ready to ditch the burnout completely flooded the gate. I’m not leaving anyone stranded in the chaos this summer. šŸ«¶šŸ¼

ā€¼ļø We kick off live TONIGHT at 6:30 PM. Don't miss the line in the sand this time. ā€¼ļø

šŸ”— Link in bio to join us.

Now, let’s talk about why this space exists in the first place:

Right on cue, the June switch flipped and the toxic "bikini body" panic marketing moved into high-gear.

🚨 Let’s hit the brakes on that right now. āœ‹šŸ¼

You don’t need to spend the next three months squeezing into a consumer-packaged version of summer. Running on pure adrenaline trying to meet someone else's aesthetic standard isn’t thriving. It’s surviving. And survival is chaos.

True wellness is about a sustainable, grounded rhythm. It's about loving your body exactly where it is today, while honestly auditing how you feel.

Inside the Collective this summer, we are building raw, earth-aligned architecture that will actually help sustain your energy this season—including how to outsmart the heat with your movement timing, protecting your sleep schedule, and regulating your nervous system so you can actually enjoy your life.

Stop overthinking it. Grab your spot at the link in my bio, get inside the group space, and let's move.
