We want to thank Amazon.com, FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency, our other disaster relief partners, and all of the FODAC staff who have worked with us over the past few months to ensure we could send much-needed medical equipment to those affected by the back-to-back typhoons in Saipan.

With their help, we were able to send over 79 pallets of Home Medical Equipment (HME) containing over 1,000 items, including oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, nebulizers, Hoyer lifts, hospital beds, and more, with an estimated value of over $300,000.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this effort possible and get these essential resources to people who need them most.

Following the devastating 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck Venezuela earlier this month, with about 6,438 reported deaths, 86,300+ injured or hospitalized, and tens of thousands still missing, FODAC sprang into action by donating 21 pallets of disaster relief DME with a total estimated value of $230,160.

FODAC is currently putting together an additional 14 pallets of pediatric DME, with a similar estimated total value, to meet the needs of children affected by the earthquake. The DME includes, but is not limited to, pediatric standers, pediatric wheelchairs and strollers, gait trainers, walkers, Hoyer Lifts, bathroom aids, canes, prosthetics, orthotics, crutches, etc. These items will be distributed by the Venezuelan American Medical Association (VAMA) on the ground in Venezuela. Special thanks to Amazon.com for their support in transporting these pallets for onward shipment to Venezuela.

🎉 A wonderful first for FODAC in Griffin!

Last week, FODAC’s Griffin location hosted its first Home Medical Equipment (HME) Drive in partnership with Fifty Forward – Your Center for Senior Services in Spalding, GA.

Together, we collected 30 HME items valued at more than $4,000 in equipment! These donations will help FODAC continue connecting people with the medical equipment they need.

A huge thank-you to Fifty Forward and everyone who donated and helped make this first drive such a success! We’re grateful for partnerships that help us extend our reach and make a difference in our community.

Please bring us any gently used HME items you have to donate. These items help us provide mobility equipment to those in need for little to no cost.

We accept most medical equipment items. We do not accept expired fluids, medications, or medical supplies. If you have these items to donate, they must not expire within the next 15 months from the date of donation.

Tee up for a good cause this fall! We will be hosting our annual golf classic fundraiser at Stone Mountain Golf Club on Friday, October 2nd, with a sh***un start at 9AM.

When you golf in our tournament, you're helping people with disabilities stay independent in their everyday lives.

Individual golfers: $175, Team Bundles: $600, and Sponsorships starting at $500.

When you or your team register to play, not only will you get to play a round of golf with your buddies, but you will also get to enjoy a continental breakfast, snacks, and adult beverages on the course, lunch delivered to you on the course, a chance to play hole contests with 50/50 cash prizes, and more!
