Please join us in congratulating Brad Peterson from our NuCara Pharmacy in Waterloo as our Employee of the Month for January.

Brad consistently goes above and beyond for the patients we serve. During the winter months, he often takes extra time to brush snow off patients’ cars and clear safe paths so they can get to their vehicles safely. These small but meaningful acts of kindness make a big difference for our patients.

Brad’s thoughtfulness, compassion, and willingness to help others truly embody what exceptional patient care is all about. We are proud to have him on the NuCara team.

Congratulations, Brad, and thank you for all you do for our patients.

Since 1973, NuCara has been more than a pharmacy. It’s been a place built on people caring for people. Through every decade, our dedicated staff has been the heart of who we are. Their compassion, expertise, and commitment to patient care have set NuCara apart from the very beginning and continue to define us today.

From the pharmacists and technicians to delivery drivers, nurses, and support teams, each person has played a role in shaping our story. It’s their relationships with patients, their attention to detail, and their genuine care that turn everyday moments into lasting trust.

Our history is written in the lives we’ve served—and our staff is, and always will be, a vital part of that story.

Rare Disease Day

Today, we recognize and stand with the millions of patients and families living with rare conditions. While each rare disease is unique, one thing remains the same—the need for personalized, compassionate, and reliable care.

At NuCara Pharmacy, we understand that many rare conditions require specialized treatment options. From specialty medications and sterile compounding to infusion services, our teams work closely with patients and providers to ensure therapies are prepared safely, accurately, and tailored to individual needs.

Behind every prescription is a person, a family, and a journey. We’re proud to support our patients every step of the way—offering expertise, guidance, and care you can count on.
