I know what it feels like to be the underdog.
I know what it feels like to build a dream without the financial resources, influence, or connections that many established brands and public figures have. Every step I’ve taken has been built through faith, perseverance, and determination.
As I’ve worked to grow Kasey’s Cosmetics and pursue my music career, there have been moments where I felt my reputation was unfairly damaged. I experienced situations that made me feel discredited, misunderstood, and judged before people even took the time to know me or my business. I also encountered brand confusion because other companies have similar names, which I believe created additional challenges for my business.
At times, it felt as though voices with greater influence carried more weight than my own. As an independent entrepreneur, I often felt overlooked while trying to build something honest and meaningful from the ground up.
I don’t claim to know everyone’s intentions, but I do know how these experiences affected me. They tested my confidence, challenged my resilience, and made the journey far more difficult than I ever imagined.
Even so, I refuse to allow hardship to define my future.
I choose to keep building.
I choose to keep creating.
I choose to keep believing that there is room for independent entrepreneurs, independent artists, and dreamers to succeed alongside established names.
My success is not measured by the size of my bank account or the influence of powerful people. It is measured by my integrity, my perseverance, my faith, and my willingness to keep moving forward despite the obstacles.
I am not asking anyone to tear someone else down so that I can rise.
I’m simply asking for the same opportunity every entrepreneur deserves: to be judged by my work, my character, and my commitment—not by assumptions, comparisons, or misunderstandings.
This is my story.
And no matter what I’ve faced, I will continue to rise.
