♍️ Virgo season is here, and there is so much more to Virgo energy than being organized, productive, or a perfectionist.

Virgo is connected to healing, discernment, devotion, service, practical wisdom, and the ways we learn to create greater alignment within ourselves and our lives.

But those same beautiful qualities can have a shadow side too.

The desire to do things well can become perfectionism.
Service can become over-responsibility.
Discernment can become self-criticism.
The desire to help can become believing our value comes from how useful we are to everyone else.

This is exactly what Meredith of Earthling Astrology and I will be exploring in our next collaboration:

Sitting outside in my pajamas this morning, working on hypnosis scripts with the birds, my backyard, and Lola, my big majestic willow tree… and I just had this moment of realizing how much happier I am.

Leaving my soul-sucking corporate job was fu***ng scary. And if I’m being completely transparent, I still don’t feel like I’ve fully landed in whatever it is I’m stepping into.

I don’t have it all figured out. Not even close.

But I think maybe that’s part of where I am right now.

I’ve been letting go of so much. Creating space. Paying closer attention to what actually nurtures me, what lights me up, what feels meaningful, and what feels like me.

And I don’t necessarily know what’s going to fill all of that new space yet.

But this morning?

Barefoot. In my pajamas. Birds singing. Lola swaying over me. Writing journeys that I get to take other people on.

This feels pretty fu***ng rich to me.

Maybe we don’t always have to know exactly where we’re going to recognize when we’re finally moving in the right direction.
