!!! The most insane thing happened yesterday at work....
"Lauren Denmark" REFUSED to pay for her new brows.
Made Torrie go THREE hours over her time with her to "fix" them. There was nothing wrong with them, she just simply didn't want to pay. I've done some online digging and she actually goes by Candace Denmark on Facebook. License plate is Washington, one phone number is Arkansas and one is Alaska, and her ID is from Georgia. Please don't book appointments if you know you're not going to pay for them. This is our job. Unfortunately, there was nothing the Sugarcreek Police could do. Her email she put on file was “[email protected]” so obviously fake.
A Berlin Facebook group has shared posts about a women matching her description going door to door trying to get credit card information claiming to work for AEP. She was unable to provide any identification or proof. I sent in a photo of the girl who scammed us and they confirmed it was the same woman. Surrounding counties/ towns and literally everyone in the US : PLEASE BE AWARE
Hurting others will never be acceptable. I pray for those she has previously scammed and my heart breaks for those affected by her greedy ways.

‼️Scammer alert ‼️
I had a new client from "Maryland" who came in yesterday to get her brows done. From the moment I met her things seemed a little off, however I know clients are usually nervous for these appointments and I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt.
To make a very long story short, she left without paying for the service she received and I have a feeling she was never planning on paying for her brows to begin with.
I called my husband and told him that I needed him to come in towards the end of her appointment knowing I'd need assistance and I'm so thankful he came! We called the cops two different times and unfortunately there was nothing they could do for us and we just had to let her walk.
Her email wasn't valid, her phone number was inconsistent and had an Alaskan area code, her plates were Washington, her driver's license was Georgia, and she told me she was in Ohio because she was ‘going to Six Flags,’ despite there currently being no Ohio amusement park operating under the Six Flags name. 🤨
I also had another client directly after this that was waiting so patiently but I had to send her home and my day ended up being a complete wash.
It's disheartening as a small business owner but lessons were learned and it is what it is.
Thankfully, the entire interaction was captured on our studio security cameras.
