I’m excited to announce that I’ll soon be launching my YouTube podcast, Truth & Hope: Cancer Conversations.
We’ll explore the misinformation surrounding both modern medicine and natural therapies for cancer with honest, evidence-based discussions rooted in compassion, wisdom, and hope.
I’ll also be sharing my personal cancer journey and how my faith in God sustained me every step of the way.
I hope you’ll join me as we seek truth together. It will look a little like this below 👇
Truth & Hope: Cancer Conversations
One of the questions I get asked the most is, “What cured your cancer?”
The truth is, I can’t point to one thing.
I chose an integrative approach. I trusted my oncologist and followed my treatment plan, while also nourishing my body with healthy foods, exercise, quality sleep, stress management, and carefully chosen herbs and supplements that my medical team knew about.
During my journey, I drank soursop tea, took resveratrol, used my homemade elderberry syrup, and other herbs like ginger and focused on eating real, whole foods. Did any one of those cure my cancer? I can’t honestly say they did, because there isn’t scientific evidence proving that.
What I can say is this. I wanted to support my body in every healthy way I could while receiving medical treatment.
But above all else, I believe my healing was part of God’s plan for my life. Throughout my journey, my faith in Jesus Christ gave me peace without fear, strength when I felt weak, and hope that I would be healed. I truly believe God sustained me, carried me, and gave me the endurance to keep moving forward one day at a time.
I also believe God works in many ways. Sometimes He heals through miracles. Sometimes He heals through the wisdom and gifts He has given doctors, surgeons, researchers, and modern medicine, and natural medicine. I thank Him for every part of my journey.
I believe conventional medicine and natural wellness don’t have to be enemies. When used wisely and with guidance from your healthcare team, they can work together to support your overall health.
If you’re facing cancer, my encouragement is simple. Build a team you trust. Ask questions. Learn from reliable sources. Nourish your body. Care for your soul and spirit. And above all, hold on to your faith and never lose hope.
My hope has never been in one herb, one supplement, or one treatment. My hope has always been in God. He was my strength through every appointment, every treatment, every difficult day, and every victory. To Him be all the glory.
