What a surreal experience 🖤
Seeing hayley was a dream come true. She pretty much raised me with Paramore through teenage angst and seeing her in the flesh just did something for my soul. Outside of Paramore, she has 3 solo albums that I have been listening to since she released her first one back in 2020 (Petals of Armor). These albums give a deeper layer to Hayley and the messy emotions of love, life & anything in-between. I’ve always said that Hayley is one of those artists that grows with you and I’m sure many millennials would agree with that.
Even though this year has been weird, it’s reminded me what truly matters and not to take life for granted. Don’t waste time wishing life was different, do the things that ignite your soul with the people you love 💕🤘🏻

Spooky season is almost here, which means I’ve been spending an unreasonable amount of time researching the actual history behind magical words and phrases. 🔮

A few of these surprised me:

🔮 Abracadabra was once written as a diminishing charm and worn around the neck to drive away illness.

🔮 Merry Meet has a documented association with witchcraft going back to at least 1664.

🔮 So Mote It Be is older than modern Wicca and came through Masonic ritual language before becoming part of witchcraft.

🔮 And And So It Is seems to have entered modern witchcraft through New Thought, affirmations, and manifestation culture rather than early Wicca.
