I blinked and my firstborn is now 4 years old! Cayden Roy, we love you so much! We’ve had so much fun celebrating you over the past several days with family and friends!
This sweet guy loves his monster trucks, race cars, motorcycles and has such a need 4 speed! He’s all about working with “tools” and helping fix things, adventuring outdoors, and playing with his brother. Happy Birthday my sweet boy.

I was done make the excuse that I couldn’t get workouts in and prioritize my own fitness goals because this season of our lives has been a lot of solo parenting. In July, I decided to make a change and make a commitment that I would carve out time 3-4x a week and prioritize garage workouts WITH my kids because showing up for my own health means I can show up 100x better for them and for those around me. Is it easy?? Absolutely not. It requires serious discipline, constant interruptions for snacks, nursing sessions, discipline and redirection BUT it is 100% worth it for all of our sanity. Now, my boys ASK to workout with me on the daily and we find ways to challenge each other in the process. In this season, we are learning to embrace the Hard and choose discipline over complacency.
