Diann has been a resident with us for a little over a year who has brought so much brightness to our campus. When asked about something she'd always wanted to do or miss doing, Diann said she would like to sit at her favorite bar again surrounded by her friends.

With help from her friend, Dee, we were able to reach out to old friends to set up the perfect surprise to make her wish come true! The princess arrived at Jordan's Big Ten Pub, where her friends waited to surprise her. Diann lit up as she entered the bar to see everyone who showed up to make her wish become a reality. The cherry on top was when Madison Fire Station Four came to pay a visit, as her favorite keepsake she shows off to visitors is a calendar with some very good-looking firefighters!

Huge shout out to Dee for helping pull all of their friends and loved ones to make Diann's wish come true!

Residents enjoyed a wonderful evening on Thursday at our Spring Formal dinner! Congratulations to Jacob and Dan, who participated in the annual Culinary Olympics against 8 other Great Lakes Division campuses and took home Bronze! Contestants were judged on Presentation, Taste, and Creativity - especially for incorporation of the secret ingredient, which was black tea this year. In 1 hour, our Sun Prairie chefs made: Black tea infused Peruvian chicken smothered in portobella mushroom cream sauce, parmesan encrusted zucchini and summer squash, cilantro lemon rice peppered with aji verde, and a final touch of parmesan crisp to top it all off!

On Thursday, we hosted folks from Waunakee for our first-ever intercampus March Madness showdown between the Sun Prairie Groundhogs and the Waunakee Warriors. Final score was a tight 47-45 - congratulations to the Warriors for their win!

Spokepersons for the Groundhogs state that the team is looking forward to a chance to return the favor, so keep an eye out for future tournaments!
