Running a one-woman business means wearing A LOT of hats. Formulator. Photographer. Videographer. Marketing department. Customer service. Shipping. Website manager. And somewhere in between, I actually have to make the soap.

Lately I’ve been reminding myself that done is better than perfect.

Would I love every video to look polished? Absolutely. But if I keep waiting until everything is perfect, nothing gets shared.

It's a phrase you see everywhere these days, but what does it really mean?

For us, small batch means we intentionally make our products in limited quantities instead of thousands at a time.

Each batch is mixed, poured, cut, and packaged by hand right here in our Wisconsin studio. Making smaller batches allows us to:

Pay close attention to every ingredient.
Check the quality of every batch before it reaches your home.
Create seasonal scents with fresh ingredients.
Reduce waste by making what we need instead of overproducing.
Stay connected to the craft that inspired Shade Tree Naturals in the first place.

Could we make more at once? Absolutely.

But we'd rather make products with care than rush the process.

To us, "small batch" isn't a marketing buzzword, it's a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and making products we're proud to put our name on.
