This week is Healthy and Safe Swimming Week! As summer approaches, here are 4 ways you can keep your kid safe and healthy while swimming.

1️⃣ Watch your kid closely while in the water. Try not to be on your phone or reading.

2️⃣ Teach your kid basic swimming and water safety skills. (Many cities offer free or cheap swimming classes for kids.)

3️⃣ Don’t let your kids swim if they are sick with diarrhea.

4️⃣ Install safety gates and door alarms to prevent your kid from entering the pool alone.
