Join Zoë, Author of The Cyclical Womban and the Emerald Heart Collective, and Heidi, of Prairie Rose Farm and Floral, for an evening of recentering and finding balance during the turn of the season. The evening will begin with a farm walk, stopping for a guided meditation amongst the flowers. Using flowers as our centering guides, you will learn about the craft of flower essences from Zoë on the Prairie Rose Farm, following the intuitive nature of flowers to reflect inwards as we begin to slow down. The evening will give space for your reflections with slow flow yoga led by Heidi during a sound bath + soundscape from Zoë. You will leave the farm with knowledge on how to create your own flower essence, a flower essence bottle to take home and a flower bouquet.

Reflect inwards to slow down this fall and find the balance needed within you for the shift of the seasons.

Happy Harvest Season!

Whewwww we have made it ya’ll.

This summer season brought about a lot of lessons for me and almost everyone I know. A season of getting bucked off that horse and hoppin right back on. 🐎🔥 But in the mess of it all, I knew I could always look to the garden for guidance. Our plant teachers, who thrive in community, have perfected what us humans still have to learn and embody to get to that space of harmony. They have so much to teach us and all we have to do is ask.

The garden is one of my greatest teachers. She holds so many beautiful metaphors and knows just when to reveal them. The garden has taught me how to care for seeds and soil so that things can really take off in the future; That teamwork really does make the dream work (shoutout to my guy & all the helping hands of loved ones

DIY GREEN ONION SALT 🧂 🧅

The garden is booming with green onions! This is super easy way to eat em all year long.

•Scissor up all your onions, •Dehydrate for 18 hours @ 145°
•Blend them up to make a powder, I used my ninja but a coffee bean grinder worlds great too
•Put them in a bowl and weigh in grams, then add your salt. I did 1:1 but it could be more less depending on how salty ya want it
•Put it back in the blender so it combines well
•Pour into those empty seasoning jars you’ve been saving ;)
•Label & enjoy on everything!

Imagine listening to the crickets chirp, the breeze shaking the leaves, the horses snorting, cute calves mooing, bees buzzing, handfuls of berries landing in buckets beside you and giggles behind the bushes. 💭💙🦋🫐

I found myself in the most peaceful berry picking spot today~

The seasons short so get out there asap, fill your belly with organic superfood, and support your local farmers 🩵

Leaving after an hour with 8 # of juicy fruit, I plan to whip up some jam, meat sauces, and some fruit leather to capture today’s abundance and for when need a reminder during the colder months that life always returns 🌞
