Miracles In Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Ctr. We use horses to effectively work with adults & children with disabilities or complex medical conditions and veterans.

In our 33rd year of operation, Miracles in Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Center uses horses to work effectively with adults and children who, due to disabilities or complex medical conditions, need assistance in developing the kinds of everyday skills that allow them to function more independently at home, school, or work. We offer various options for people with physical, motor, social, or cognitive disabilities, including therapeutic riding classes, Hippotherapy sessions, ground work programs, or a combination of these experiences to aid in rehabilitation, therapy routines, and strengthening.

Miracles in Motion’s 2026 Horse of the Year is…Flash! 🐎👑

Congrats to him and all who voted for him! Thanks to your support of our campaign, we raised over $4,000 to go towards the health and care of our entire herd! Until next year, Flash will be enjoying the life of royalty as horse of the year! Make sure you give him extra treats and pats next time you see him. 💚🐴👑

⭐️ Horse of the Year Highlight: Hadley & Gunnar ⭐️

Meet Hadley & Gunnar, two friends who arrived to Miracles from the same barn in April. Hadley is a 13 year old Haflinger gelding with a lesson horse and hunter jumper background. Gunnar is a 17 year old quarter horse gelding who was also a lesson horse. These two took to life at Miracles well and have begun getting used to our hippotherapy and adaptive riding lessons. They both have excelled in training our new volunteers! Between their calm demeanors, fun personalities, and Hadley’s gorgeous locks, these two will make wonderful additions to our programs soon, look for them in classes this spring! 🐴💚

⭐️ Horse of the Year Highlight: Tonka ⭐️

Meet Tonka, one of our newest, youngest, and spunkiest horses. He is a 6 year old Paso Fino, and enjoys keeping everyone entertained. He joined the Miracles herd in March of this year and has been a lovely addition to our adaptive riding and hippotherapy programs! His striking appearance, smooth gait, and goofy personality make him a favorite of all his riders and each person he meets!

We’re kicking off our herd spotlights by introducing last year’s Horse of the Year, Brett! He is a 21 year old Rocky Mountain horse and has been making Miracles for 11 years! He enjoys spending time with his buddy, Flash, and eating hay, grass, grain—anything. 🌾😋 He has been a beloved member of our ground and ridden programs, and his gentle demeanor and beautiful mane make him a favorite of all who meet him. 💚
