💙 From an Idea to the Pitch Stage! 🫧🎤

What a moment for Ravin Hand Hygiene Tour!

I had the opportunity to take the stage at the gALPHA Generator Pitch Showcase a few weeks ago and share the vision behind Ravin Hand Hygiene Tour — a nurse-led, interactive hand hygiene education program designed to make disease prevention engaging, memorable, and accessible for children.

Standing in front of the room and seeing Ravin Hand Hygiene Tour on that screen meant more to me than I can put into words. What started as an idea has grown into programs, community bookings, hands-on learning experiences, Hygiene Heroes, our Germ Detective Lab, and now an opportunity to pitch the vision in front of entrepreneurs, community leaders, mentors, and supporters.

And I walked away with something else I'll treasure — my Certificate of Completion! 🎓💙

I'm grateful for the gALPHA experience, the mentorship, the feedback, the connections, and everyone who encouraged me throughout this journey.

But this is not the finish line!

We're building Ravin Hand Hygiene Tour to help children understand that something as simple as properly washing their hands can be a powerful tool for protecting themselves, their families, their classrooms, and their communities.

The Ravin Hand Hygiene Tour Faith-Based Program brings together health education, faith, service, and FUN to teach children that caring for their bodies and caring for others can go hand in hand.

Through an engaging, nurse-led experience, our young Hygiene Heroes learn about proper handwashing, discover the germs we can’t see using UV technology, practice the 20-second handwashing technique, and explore how clean hands can help protect themselves, their families, and their communities.

Our faith-based program reinforces powerful lessons such as:

💙 Clean hands can show love and care.
💛 Our bodies are gifts from God worth protecting.
💙 Serving others includes helping keep one another healthy.
💛 Healthy habits learned today can last a lifetime.

We are honored and excited to be part of the Awareness Fashion & Hair Show Extravaganza—an event where fashion, beauty, health, advocacy, and community come together for a greater purpose.

💙 Sylacauga Autism Initiative will proudly stand in representation of individuals with autism and the families who love, advocate for, and support them every single day.

🫧 Ravin Hand Hygiene Tour will also be there promoting healthier communities through nurse-led hand hygiene education and encouraging our children to become Hand Hygiene Heroes!
