This Wound Healing Awareness Month, Coosa Valley Wound Care Center is proud to bring advanced healing technology closer to home with our NEW Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chambers. Our state-of-the-art HBOT chambers are now ready to serve patients throughout our community.

HBOT uses 100% oxygen in a pressurized environment to help the body heal more effectively by increasing oxygen delivery to damaged tissue, supporting the body’s natural healing process, and helping fight infection. We are proud to celebrate a very special milestone. The successful healing of our first Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) patient.

Mrs. Culpepper began her care with us when our HBO program launched, placing her confidence in our team. Today, we are thrilled to share that she has healed, and we could not be more honored to have been a part of her journey.

Today we want to take a moment to recognize Kelly, our Clinical Nurse Manager, as she prepares to step into an exciting new role with Hospice. Her last day with Coosa Valley Wound Care Center will be February 11, and we are so grateful for the leadership, dedication, and heart she has poured into our patients and our team. Her impact here will be felt for a long time, and we truly wish her nothing but the best in this next chapter.
