Was BREAKING NEWS! Citizens in Americus and Sumter County, Ga. should know that several small overdoses have occurred here the last few days and it appears that the unknown synthetic opioid is the cause. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office states these are yellow, oblong-shaped pills that are dermal--that means the substance can be transferred to your system just by touching or handling the pill. Respiratory failure can occur in less than 5-minutes. DO NOT TOUCH anything resembling this pill. If you see something similar on the ground, DO NOT TOUCH IT!! Instead notify APD, Sumter SO or the GBI Region 15 drug division in Sylvester immediately. This is serious and should NOT be taken lightly. This pill is 75-100% STRONGER than morphine and is to be considered deadly. BE AWARE! Please share to help spread the word to your friends and family...
