I’m feeling the need for grounding and relaxation today. When touch isn’t available from the outside, then movement, breath, scent, self touch, and sound can help support us in its absence. While there is no replacement for the touch we need from other humans, and I’m here when you need Thai Yoga Massage, we all sometimes need the support of other tools when under stress. As I explore more of the intersection of sound, art, and healing through ASMR, I’m finding an expansion in the awareness of the sounds that’s I turn to already. When we train our awareness on what was source of self-soothing, we can find it’s like an old friend that’s been there all along. In switching focus from one sense to another, and seeing how they flow together, I find room to grow and expand what I offer to my clients. What helps you to self-soothe? Have you allowed yourself a moment to even check in with what you are feeling without judgement? We really need to support our ourselves and each other during hard times. If you need help with pain, stress, and flexibility, I’m here for that with the preventative, therapeutic flow of movement and touch that is Thai Yoga Massage.
