Mindful Check-In:

Hydrated?

Drink enough water throughout the day. Hydration keeps your body energized and your mind focused.

Do you need rest?

Try a 20 minute Yoga Nidra practice. It can feel like hours of deep sleep for your nervous system.

Move Your Body?

Exercise doesn’t have to be intense. A simple walk or intentional stretching keeps your body active and reduces stress.

Practice Mindfulness?

Take a few minutes to connect with the present moment. Pay attention to the details. As you take in the scene, what is your inner experience?

Did you find this mindful check-in supportive?

Feel free to repost, save and share.✨

Join Dr. Mandi Murtaugh for Push Prep: A Pelvic Floor Birth Workshop - And feel ready for what's ahead. Register by June 1st and save $25.

This workshop is for pregnant folks in the 2nd or 3rd trimester with one support person (partner, doula, or other birth support person) There are many things we can't practice to prepare for labor.

We can't practice what a contraction feels like, or crowning, or really pushing. BUT-there are things we can practice so that your body isn't totally surprised when labor hits.

At the end of this workshop, you will feel more prepared for birth because you've learned:
How to practice relaxing your pelvic floor in labor.

Perineal stretching—what it is and what it isn't (hint: it's not torture!)
What positions you can labor and push in, what to practice, and what you do and don't like.
How to effectively push when the time comes.
Your partner will learn:
How to help you prepare your pelvic floor for birth.

Hands-on techniques to open the pelvis during labor, which help with pain management and ease the way for the baby's emergence.

Dr. Mandi Murtaugh, PT, DPT, WCS (she/her) is a board-certified Pelvic Health Physical Therapist dedicated to working collaboratively with you to help you live your healthiest, fullest life. Whether that means caring for your family, hiking in the woods, or enjoying intimacy with your partner, her goal is to support you in doing the things you love-without limitations.

Her passion lies in supporting individuals through all stages of the childbearing years, from those navigating pelvic pain or fertility challenges, through pregnancy and the fourth trimester, and into the wisdom of peri-and post-menopause. She believes each stage of life brings its own unique gifts and challenges, and strives to honor the cyclical nature of life while empowering you to move through each phase with grace and ease.

Saturday, June 27, 2-4pm

Cost: $150 ($25 off if registered before June 1)

This Memorial Day, we take a moment to remember and honor the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice.

May we move with gratitude today for the breath in our lungs, the ground beneath our feet, and the lives given so we could live freely.

We’re holding space for those who grieve, and who carry this weight everyday—not just today.

We have adjusted our class schedule for Memorial Day, please see stories.

Gentle reminder friends, taking it slow is not lazy, it’s intentional.

Be like water……unhurried, yet it still reaches where it is meant to go. Give yourself that same permission.

A 90 minute class that will help ground you into your body, increase circulation, cultivate body awareness, and create space in your tissues.

It begins with a short meditation for grounding and awareness, followed by gentle guided stretching to notice where aches, pains, and restrictions have settled into your tissues. Yoga Tune Up balls will be utilized to work deeply, but gently into the soft tissues of your upper back, shoulders, arms, and hands.

Participants will come away from this class with tangible, accessible tools to use at home to address everyday aches and pains from screen use, less than ideal posture, and stress.

This class is offered by guest instructor and local massage therapist Erin Harris.

Registration is now open, head to the link below.

There is something special that happens when people come together on the mat.

We’ve watched this community grow, survive the pandemic, lift one another up and return to the mat—again and again.

What brought you to Source Yoga—and what made you stay?

Mindful moments are.......

Your morning coffee or tea sipped slowly.

A deep breath when stuck in traffic.

Five minutes on your mat when the world feels like too much.

The walk outside, where you look at the finer details of nature all around you.

They are the moments where you're not pulled in any direction but inward.....where you feel fully present. In your body. In this moment.

You don't need more time. You don't need the perfect conditions.
You just need right here. Right now.

What does your mindful moment look like today?

Share it with us below, we would love to know.
