We are so thankful for our continued partnership with , who regularly visits our River Rock homes to spend time with our residents, share a meaningful sermon, and provide the opportunity to participate in Holy Communion.
These visits are such a special part of our residents’ lives and provide a beautiful opportunity for faith, fellowship, connection, and encouragement. We are grateful for the time they consistently give to our River Rock family and for the blessing they bring to our residents. ✨

🍅🎬 Fried Green Tomatoes & a Movie to Match! 🎬🍅

Nothing beats enjoying the simple things—our residents got to enjoy some fresh green tomatoes straight from the garden, fried up and ready to taste! 🌱🍅

And of course, we had to make it a full experience… fried green tomatoes while watching Fried Green Tomatoes!

💜🐾 TEAM ROVERS IS WALKING TO END ALZHEIMER’S! 🐾💜

We’re so excited to announce that River Rock Adult Family Homes is coming together as Team Rovers to walk, raise awareness, and raise money for those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. 💜

And this isn’t just a walk… we’re making it an adventure! 🐾🎉

Over the coming days and weeks, we’ll have SO many fun activities, fundraisers, challenges, and special events happening throughout our houses as we work together toward our fundraising goal. We’ll be sharing all the fun along the way, so make sure you’re following along and STAY TUNED! 👀💜

We mixed things up with a variety of lemonade flavors and had some very important taste-testing to do! 😋 From classic to fruity favorites, there was something for everyone.

Good drinks, good company, and plenty of smiles. What lemonade flavor would you pick? 🍓🍋🍊

🎨 A little creativity at River Rock! 🪨

Our residents had fun painting rocks and turning simple shells into their own little works of art. We may not have caught the painting in action, but the finished shells speak for themselves! ❤️

A little root b**r, a scoop of ice cream, and a lot of happy residents. Sometimes the simplest treats make for a pretty great afternoon!

We love when the library comes to us! 📚❤️

Our residents enjoy the convenience of the Pierce County Library mobile library, bringing a great selection of books, audiobooks, music, and movies right into our homes. It’s such a wonderful way to keep reading, listening, and enjoying something new!

River Rock Adult Family Homes is looking forward to the 2026 "Communication is the KEY" Alzheimer's & Dementia Awareness Conference on Saturday, September 19, 2026. This conference is a wonderful opportunity for family caregivers, professional caregivers, healthcare providers, and community members to learn practical communication strategies, gain valuable dementia care insights, and connect with local resources.

✨ FREE Continuing Education (CE) credits are available for caregivers!
