We’re wrapping up our 2025 ATLS courses! 🎉

After four incredible sessions, we said goodbye to our final class of the year, showcasing the latest 11th Edition material. It was fantastic to meet attendees from Hawaii, Alaska, and all over Washington state, including our talented VMFH Trauma team, ED providers, and Anesthesiologists.

We are so pleased to be joining ATS and TSN. It's a significant step for us, especially as one of only two hospitals in Washington State to be a TSN provider.

We are absolutely thrilled to bring these much-needed resources and a deeper level of support to our trauma patients and their families who navigate such challenging recovery paths.

Today we are proud to recognize Virginia Mason Franciscan Health - St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. As a Level II trauma center and dedicated ATS member and TSN site, St. Joseph plays a vital role in delivering exceptional trauma care to patients and families across the region.

Last week, St. Joseph Medical Center proudly welcomed over 30 dedicated firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs from our local departments for an impactful EMS Skills Day! Participants showed incredible engagement while sharpening critical skills in Ob/Gyn complications, Trauma & Burn care, and Mass Casualty Triage.

This level of collaboration is truly vital. These connections between EMS and hospital staff ensure seamless, high-quality care for our community, even in the most challenging situations. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for their incredible dedication and partnership!
