Where are you placing most of your attention?

If we compared your total screen time with work time or productivity, where would you end up?

Pay much closer attention (no pun intended ) to where you’re placing your attention.

You’ll get more done. You might feel better. You might have better relationships.

10+ years ago, we could not have maintained this property. I would have been wiped out after mowing the yard.

Now, 40+lbs lighter, more muscle, zero medications and I’m mowing, weeding, trimming trees, planting, hauling, etc… and I’m fine the rest of the evening. Not that I *want* to do it again the next day, but I can.

We’re all getting older, that’s unavoidable.

AND we can still get better. Right????

How about you? How you doing?

My business coach is constantly reminding me that I tend to write a PhD thesis in every social media post. And he’s right!

I know some other really smart people who are a bit more direct. You should listen to them as well.

Good health doesn’t begin in hospitals. Do what you can, where you can, with what you have and what you know.

If you think the only option for you is more drugs and doctors, then we really need to talk. Do you really believe there is absolutely nothing that you can personally improve in your health?

Day #2 of continuing education plus a few bonus shots of Las Vegas.

Yes, I did train twice. One day at the Paris gym and one day at the Horseshoe gym.

Admit it, Vegas is unique. Daytime or nighttime, there is nothing quite like it.

Sessions from today:
- Better ways to use AI in coaching businesses
- PCOS made practical.
- Set point theory. Weight loss variability.
- Creating more effective hypertrophy programs using better exercise mechanics.
- Behavior management and client resistance. You know what to do but you can’t make yourself do it.

Which one(s) are most interesting to you?

Let’s do something together! OK, honey. You like to run, so I’ll run.

Three weeks ago, I was competing in a powerlifting competition. That’s how I’ve been training for the past 18 months. It was a quick swerve to focus on cardio endurance for 3 weeks. I wasn’t first or last in my age group. I’ll take that as a big win.

Drinking beer at 9:30AM is a young man’s game. It isn’t something I would normally do. We’ve been in England and seen people at the pub early in the morning. I suppose it could be a cultural, learned, habit.

, thanks for a great event. It was a wonderful experience. Totally recommended and we will probably see you again next year!

Begin before you’re ready. I wish I had followed that advice.

Don’t overthink everything you do.
Don’t think being clever will make everything better. You might slow yourself down.

asked clients to share their . So I decided to do a very brief rig rundown.

I use their Camelot app along with several apps, , and Keith McMillen Instruments 12 Step v.2 for all of my synth sounds. (All run through a DI box…)

My bass is a with .pickups and preamp.
The entire bass rig is a DP3X preamp.

Add a LiveMix in-ear mixer and Playback for all of our tracks.

Everything packs up to a bass gig bag, keyboard soft case, and pedal board case. Even with carrying the keyboard stand, it is a one trip load in wonder!

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆?
58- year old trainer, health coach, college instructor, musician, and Christian family man.

𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁
My commitment to 50-60+ hour workweeks and being on call 24/7 cost me countless hours of missed family time and seeing our son grow up. I’ll never get that time back, but I have repaired and rebuilt my family relationships. You can too.

𝗠𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.
My sedentary lifestyle, high stress and long hours (high cortisol), poor sleep, excessive diet, and age-related decline stacked up against me. That’s no way to live a long, healthy life.

It wasn’t until my mid- 40’s did I realize that I might not live long enough to see my son grow up, go to college, get married, and have his own kids. I certainly did not want him to follow my poor examples.

𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘺… Many a man has been chewed up and spit out by corporate America. That’s my bad. I accepted responsibility and began making changes. The best time to start is right now. And you already know that’s the truth. It’s your responsibility to yourself (and others) to make the call.

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘳. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦? 𝘠𝘖𝘜𝘙 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺?”

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆?
In a way, I guess I was a late bloomer in finding my calling. I had a successful career, but it was more of a job. I lived the corporate life for over two decades. Good money, lousy hours with high stress. Again, it wasn’t until my early 40’s did I begin making my own changes. I’ve gone back to school to earn a Masters’ degree, started my own training and coaching businesses, earned a national board certification to coach others like me in fitness, nutrition, sleep, stress management (aka resilience), and overall wellness. I can walk the walk and talk the talk like very few can!

“𝘌𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘞𝘺𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘭. 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘐 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴. - 𝘓𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺”

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.
Deep inside, you know the benefits. Ignore the number on the scale for now. The real wins are mental clarity, more and more consistent energy, looking, moving, and feeling better in a suit and your birthday suit. Better relationships. Less pain. And far fewer medications as you get older. Real money saved.

“𝘌𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦. 𝘏𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. - 𝘑𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘯”

100% of us are getting older. We’re living longer thanks to increased medications, but we’re not living better. In fact, the rate of decline is increasing and starting earlier in life. There’s a good probability that you will already be in decline by the time you retire. Hooked on more (and more expensive) medications is no way to live. The earlier you begin taking better care of yourself, the longer and healthier life you can live at less expense. And I mean hundreds of thousands of dollars less in medical costs. Money spent now can save you 10x+ over the rest of your life.

If you were making a business deal, you’d take the deal right this second. Small up-front costs compared to massive, continued, unavoidable expenses down the road.

“𝘌𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦…𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. - 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘯.”

Physical, intellectual, emotional, relational, and spiritual health is necessary. They’re all interconnected, and to be fully healthy, you need to work on them all in some way.

You need a way to rebuild or repair your jet airplane of a life while you’re screaming through the air at 500 miles an hour, with your business, family, and friends sitting in economy.

The Brotherhood Blueprint is the culmination of my personal life (so far), my continuing studies, experience from hundreds of clients, and hundreds of college students. Solid research, extensive studies, personal experience, and proven results.

It was time for a well-earned dining splurge after a long, uncomfortable 12-week training cycle and difficult competition…

Of course, that means sushi! All You Can Eat sushi at Trappers! Mochi dessert not pictured, BTW… I could have gone another long roll or two short rolls, but I was comfortably full after this.

Right back with a lighter training session today. Fully carb loaded!
