It IS that time! We are calling for nominations for our 2027-2028 Tahlequah AAPC Local
Chapter officers!! We are needing everyone who is interested in running for an officer
position to please fill out the google form below! You can fill out the form with who you
believe should be nominated for each officer position or submit yourself as a
nomination!

Nominations will be accepted until September 15th, so do it now so you don't have to

Call for Nominations

Important information – Please read before submitting a nomination

Before selecting a nominee, please carefully review the following eligibility requirements and guidelines:

• Members Only: Only individuals listed as current members of your local chapter are eligible to be nominated or to vote in the election.

• Required Officer Positions: Each chapter must elect the following roles:

President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer.
Additional roles include Education Officer and Member Development Officer.

While Secretary and Treasurer are combined by default, they may be separated if the chapter officers determine it is necessary

• AAPC Membership: All officers must maintain an active AAPC membership throughout their term.

• Credential Requirements:

The President and Vice President must hold current AAPC credentials.

If an Education Officer is elected, they must also be credentialed by AAPC.

• Good Standing: All nominees must be in good standing with AAPC at the time of nomination.

• Active Participation: Nominees should be engaged members who attend local chapter meetings regularly
and actively contribute to chapter activities.

• Meeting Attendance Requirement: Once elected, officers are expected to attend all local chapter
meetings.

(Reminder! Communicate with the members you are
nominating BEFORE you nominate them. Get confirmation they are willing and able to serve as
a chapter officer. Also, remember that you may nominate yourself!)

Hi Chapter Members,
Nominations are now open for chapter officer roles for the upcoming year!
You don’t need to have prior experience. You don’t even need a credential. You just
need a willingness to lead, grow, and be part of something bigger than yourself. Not
ready to take that leap yourself? Nominate someone who is!
Remember: These volunteer leadership roles aren’t just a great line on a resume.
They’re a powerful way to gain hands-on experience, build confidence, and strengthen
your skills.
Roles available include (starred roles are required to keep a chapter open):
