It doesn’t mean you’re broken! It means you’re acting predictably within documented tendencies of human biology & psychology 🤓

Ultra-processed and hyper-palatable food is here to stay.

You’re doing yourself a disservice by avoiding the behavior change practice that is required to be at peace in these situations.

And (good news!), ANY & EVERY food can be included in an overall healthy dietary pattern that can help you reach your goals. It’s all about context & frequency 🙌🏻

It was a really low moment for me early on in my journey when I realized the thing I was looking forward to the most in my day was…food 🫪

Not that food can’t be enjoyable! It definitely can be and can add positive experiences to your day. But if it’s *the* thing you’re consistently relying on to bring fun, joy, relaxation, peace…that crosses a line into unhealthy emotional eating.

When I started separating food from my emotions, my relationship with food and my relationship with myself improved.

The only problem food can fix is hunger 💗

All of my most recent Costco groceries 😊

Trying VERY hard to avoid food waste and I chose to stop buying drinks (like Gatorade zero and Diet Coke) because that’s all I was drinking and someone has to be the adult and create an environment where we will actually drink water 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 it’s a tough life. But that makes my restaurant DCs taste even sweeter 😎

Greek Inspired Chickpea Salad

Serves 4-6
Prep time: 15 min

~1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
~1 lb cherry tomatoes, halved or chopped
~2 avocados, chopped
~1/2 red onion, chopped
~1 cup feta cheese
~1/4 cup olive oil
~1 lemon, juiced
~1/2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
~Greek seasoning, to taste

Serve with any protein for a balanced meal!👍🏻
