We’re truly excited to be collaborating with the Expressive Therapies Summit for the upcoming Discovering Goddess Archetypes Within experience in Mexico. This partnership allows the retreat to be held with care, integrity, and thoughtful structure, while still remaining intimate, creative, and deeply personal.

What this means for you is a beautifully supported experience - daily workshops and guided practices, meaningful ceremony, nourishing meals, and time to rest, reflect, and reconnect. For those who need them, the retreat also offers 14 Continuing Education credits, all within a setting that feels spacious, human, and deeply restorative.

The retreat will be co-facilitated alongside local healers and teachers from the Puerto Morelos area, weaving expressive arts work with the wisdom of the land and its living culture.
This is a small, intentionally held gathering, limited to no more than 12 women, so that everyone feels seen, supported, and fully welcomed. It’s a chance to step away from the everyday and return to yourself - to your creativity, your intuition, and your feminine power.

This painting is called Refugee.
She carries a child in distress.
Another at her side is nearly falling apart.
Behind her, there is chaos.

And yet she stands in quiet dignity.

When this piece was recently rejected from a show, I felt moved to share it anyway. Because this woman exists all around us. She is often unseen. Unnamed. And yet she carries a goddess energy - a quiet strength, an empowered listening, a way of being in the world no matter what she holds.

I believe there is a refugee within each of us - searching, longing, holding more than we let on.

At my retreat, we gather to acknowledge that part of ourselves together. To witness it. To honor it. And then to return home carrying that wisdom back into the world.

This retreat in Mexico is an invitation to remember who you are beneath the noise.

I’m sitting here today surrounded by some rather wonderful creatures - animals I’ve collected over many years, many of them from Mexico. Each one carries a story.

At the retreat, we’ll explore these kinds of stories - how nature, animals, and symbols speak to us when we slow down and listen. We’ll sit around the fire, by the pool, near the cenote, and let stories rise the way they do when we’re held by the jungle. You may remember that feeling from childhood - campfires, evenings outdoors, that sense of ease where words just flow.

Only this time, you’ll be deeply cared for. Comfortable accommodations. Delicious food. Ceremony, laughter, rest, and so much love.

The jungle has a way of awakening creativity, connection, and the goddess within. You might even meet a monkey or two, hear unfamiliar birds calling, and feel yourself soften into something ancient and true.
