What a mess this Fox DPX2 was… in from Bend, a “Sample OEM” shock with who knows what history…. Anyway, all good now… worn damper shaft replaced, several worn / damaged damper shims-valves replaced and now ready for more shredding!!

A little race prep on this brand new Fox 36 and a refresh and travel change on the DPX2 that goes with the fork. Time for riding at lunch!

A clean bike is happier and faster…. Im sticking to that anyway. First thing I have always done after a road trip, bike vacation, whatever…. Is bike maintenance. Rarely if ever have I had a component failure due to maintenance related issues.

Full complement (not pictured, Reverb AXS) in for full meal deal…. Last month has been rough so completing these was a big win. Hope the rider is stoked, everything works so much better now…. Looks better too!

I fell behind a little over the weekend with a service that took longer than planned. So I had to knock out a little late night session last night after teaching all day, to get this older Fox 34 FIT4 dialed for a local shop / rider. The fork was way overdue and if I’m honest, I wasn’t sure it would go smoothly given the age and condition of neglect that I got the fork in. All said, it went pretty smoothly and the rider should be pretty damn happy with the performance now, after the service.
