Our students enjoyed a nature walk during PE, combining science and physical education while soaking up the beautiful fall weather!
As they explored the outdoors, students had the opportunity to observe nature, engage their senses, get moving, and discover the world around them. From fresh air to fall discoveries, it was the perfect way to make learning active, meaningful, and FUN! Shout out to the best PE coaches for providing this learning opportunity!
At Helen Keller School, we love finding creative ways to help our students learn, grow, and experience the world around them!

🏅🦅 WHAT A DAY TO BE AN EAGLE! 🦅🏅
Today was all about determination, sportsmanship, teamwork, and celebrating what it means to be LIMITLESS! Our Eagles brought their best to the Special Olympics Games, showing off their skills, cheering on their teammates, and proving that the greatest victories come from courage, perseverance, and heart.
Every athlete was a champion today, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way our students represented Helen Keller School!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the games special and to those who continue to cheer our Eagles on every step of the way!
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!

🍂 Leaf Investigation🍂
Ms. Kori’s ELA classes participated in a hands-on leaf investigation today! Students collected a variety of leaves, measured their lengths, and closely observed their different shapes, colors, textures, and patterns. It was a wonderful activity to connect classroom learning with the natural world! 🌿📏🍁

And just like that… volleyball season is underway!
We kicked off the season with our annual Staff vs. Students Volleyball Game, and let’s just say… the competition was REAL!
The serves were on point, the rallies were long, and the laughs were even bigger! From big plays to big smiles, our students and staff had a blast cheering each other on and showing off their volleyball skills.
What a fun way to start the season! We can’t wait to see what this volleyball season has in store. Let’s go, Eagles!

🌟 All About ME! 🌟
Our Pre-K friends are learning that their voices matter! 🗣️💙
Our little Eagles created their very own “All About Me” posters and proudly shared them with their elementary friends. From favorite things to special interests, our students had the opportunity to tell others what makes them uniquely YOU! 🥰
This fun activity is about more than just sharing—it’s helping our students build important self-advocacy skills, practice communicating their wants and interests, and gain confidence in speaking up for themselves. 💪✨
We are so proud of our youngest Eagles for using their voices and showing the world just how LIMITLESS they are! 🦅💙
