Bumblebee went wild. 🐝🌿

We spent time volunteering at St. Francis Wildlife, where we got to meet opossums, squirrels, birds, pigeons, and even a raccoon waiting on intake. And while we were there, people kept arriving with animals who needed help.

Rescue work truly never stops.

Obviously, we loved meeting the animals. But one of our favorite parts was seeing how much the little things matter.

Laundry.
Human and animal dishes.
Cleaning.
Organizing.

All the behind the scenes work that keeps the place moving so the people caring for these animals can keep doing what they do best.

And that felt very Bumblebee to us.

We believe care lives in the details. In preparation. In teamwork. In noticing what needs to be done and being willing to jump in and do it.

You do not have to be a wildlife expert to be useful. You just have to be willing to show up and help.

St. Francis Wildlife welcomes volunteers 18+, and we cannot recommend spending a few hours with them enough. 💛

A big thank you to the Bumblebee team members who could be there with us, and to the ones cheering us on who could not. It takes a hive.

And sometimes helping wildlife looks a whole lot like folding laundry while hoping there is not a squirrel hiding in it. Jump scare. 😂

If you’re peeling like a croissant, that is not a gold star. 😂
Start slow.
Support your barrier.
Wear the SPF.
Then let consistency do the boring, beautiful work.

And one more thing I wish people knew: there is not one “best” retinol for every face. The right Vitamin A, strength, frequency, and supporting routine should make sense for your skin.

There are people who make the world more beautiful simply by being fully themselves. Dolly was one of them.

She gave us the hair, the lashes, the rhinestones and unapologetic glamour. But she also showed us something much bigger: that what you do with your heart matters every bit as much as what the world sees on the outside.

She gave books to children. She gave back to her community. She opened doors for other women. She made people laugh. She never seemed to believe that being glamorous and being deeply good were mutually exclusive.

For a little business built around beauty, connection and caring for people, that feels worth honoring.

I’m not trying to **stop aging.** I’m trying to support the skin I get to live in while I do it. 🤍

And after a whole lotta years in skincare, I keep coming back to the same thing:

**Consistency beats intensity. Every. Single. Time.**

The things I actually do:

✨ Keep my home care consistent — active cleanser, stable antioxidant + vitamin C
☀️ SPF. Yes, even when Tallahassee decides the sun doesn’t exist that day.
🧪 Retinol + glycolic acid strategically. More is not always more.
🪡 Invest in regenerative treatments — quarterly microneedling + monthly SWiCH treatments are favorites in this season of my skin.
🥗 Support the whole human — make healthy food choices most of the time, move my body about 3x/week, and work on nervous-system regulation. My Pulsetto has become part of that routine.

And also?

**Sometimes you need the French fries.** 😂🍟

Healthy skin has never been one magic serum, one facial, or one perfect routine. It’s the boring little things we repeat + good treatments at the right time + taking care of the human underneath the skin.
