🌧️✨ Calling in the rain… with intention, sound, and energy ✨🌧️

Here in Florida, we’re feeling the weight of one of the driest seasons in recent memory. The earth is thirsty, the plants are weary, and you can feel it in the air. So today, I turned to both Reiki and sound healing—working with a rain stick as a tool for intention and connection.

There’s something deeply grounding about the sound of a rain stick… the gentle cascade mimics rainfall, inviting the body and spirit to remember what it feels like when nourishment returns. As I moved through Reiki, I focused on balance, restoration, and sending energy not just to myself, but outward—to the land, the skies, and the natural flow of water.

Is it about “making” it rain? Not exactly.
It’s about aligning with nature, honoring what’s out of balance, and offering energy with respect and intention. 🌿

We are not separate from the earth—we are part of its rhythm.

Today’s practice was a reminder:
✨ To listen
✨ To connect
✨ To trust the cycles
✨ And to hold space for renewal

Whether the rain comes tomorrow or in its own divine timing, the intention has been set.

When you hear a newly adopted baby goat bleating, you’re not just hearing noise. You’re hearing a call.

Goats are herd animals. When they’re separated, especially young ones, they will bleat over and over trying to find their family. It’s their way of saying, “Where are you? I need you.”

That sound comes from a very real place of stress and separation anxiety, and it can last for days as they adjust to a new environment.

Right now, that’s exactly what these little ones are going through.

Since bringing them home yesterday, I’ve been spending time out in their space offering animal Reiki, just sitting with them, letting them feel a calm, steady presence. No forcing, no expectations… just grounding, gentle energy.

Today, I felt called to focus on their root chakra.
The root chakra is all about safety, stability, and that deep sense of home. It’s the energetic foundation that tells the body, “You are safe. You belong. You are supported.” When that energy center is out of balance, especially after a sudden change like leaving their herd, it can show up as fear, anxiety, and that constant calling out.

So today’s work has been about helping them land.
Helping their little bodies and spirits settle into this new space…
Helping them feel that even though things are different, they are not alone…
Helping them begin to trust that this can be home, too.

And you can feel the shift. It’s subtle, but it’s there, the pauses between bleats getting longer, the bodies softening, the curiosity starting to peek through.

Animals feel energy so honestly. They don’t overthink it. They just receive.
And it’s an honor to hold that space for them while they find their footing again. 🌿💫
