It comes down to two things:

Less Ink = Less Ouch: This design doesn’t have super dense, heavy ink saturation. Since there’s less dye for the laser to snap and break down, the treatment is significantly more comfortable.

Placement is Everything: Yes, your pain tolerance changes depending on where the ink lives. Thinner skin, nerve clusters, or areas right over a bone (like ribs or wrists) are always going to feel a bit more spicy than juicier areas.

Bottom line: Not all tattoo removal has to be a painful ordeal!

You might actually be dealing with an overworked masseter muscle. This is the main muscle on the side of your jaw, and for some of us, it can get entirely too strong from stress-induced clenching or nighttime grinding. I’ve even seen patients chip teeth from it!

While a lot of people try using bulky night guards, one of my favorite clinical treatments is actually injecting Tox directly into the masseter muscle.
