On this Senior Citizen Day, we honor Mr. Rudy Thomas, FHCA's 2026 Joe Negron Resident of the Year. Since becoming a resident of the Fountains Residence at Mill Cove in 2024, Mr. Thomas has truly made a difference in the lives of his fellow residents with his uplifting energy and passion for people and basketball. Don't miss the chance to hear from Deputy Secretary Kimberly Smoak on the latest regulation changes and updated guidance, including how the new required certified medical director, customer satisfaction and patient safety culture surveys will be reviewed during the AHCA survey process.
