Every 3rd Saturday is a good day! This group is a ball of fun and I always look forward to our meetings.

This hands on workshop was all about the fire cider 🔥🔥

Next up we will be continuing on our path of preparing our herbal medicine cabinet for the coming cold and flu season. We will be making elderberry syrup and infused honey/oxymels!

Broer herbal Co. and Capital City Garden Club have partnered to offer a herbal education session every third Saturday of the month.

Our last session was hands on creation of digestive bitters. I so enjoy this group of humans. My bad nerves just slip away ❤️

Our next few sessions will focus on preparing our home herbal medicine cabinet for cold and flu season.

I tested a new soap recipe! It’s liquid black soap with peppermint. Since black soap can be drying with repeated use, I added some jojoba oil and to thicken it a little, some vegetable glycerin.

Because, I used water I want to see how long it will last out of the refrigerator. Products made with water require some sort of preservative. Since I’m anti-preservative, I want to test this product before offering to the public.
