In its 31st year, Dance Marathon at FSU raised more than $1.5 million! These funds will help support the FSU College of Medicine’s pediatric outreach programs and UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, the region’s Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

This year, $697,380.85 was donated to the FSU College of Medicine, helping provide critical services for children and families across the community, including physicals, dental care, medical music therapy in the NICU and family support services.

A major milestone for newborn health in Florida ☀️ The Florida Institute for Pediatric Rare Diseases - FSU enrolled the first families in the Sunshine Genetics pilot program, a voluntary, statewide program that screens newborns for nearly 900 genetic conditions and helps identify rare diseases sooner.

This program, supported by State Representative Adam Anderson, will help ensure that every child in Florida has access to the best possible start in life, powered by the science of genomics.
