So I couldnt post a video and pictures at same time on Facebook so here is a walk around of the Tree Fiddy.It was a great parade! Got to toss candy to all the little ones and a few grown ones 😂 even had some dance to our jams with us! It's crazy to sit back and think of everything this girl has been through in just 1 year and still be able to climb her self up into the back of the truck and represent the Student Lighthouse originization this year. She makes me so dadgum proud words can't even begin. She is the epitome of resilience, of strong, and of a surviving warrior! Now, it's time to get ready for Pre Game Ceremonies!!! Let's Go HamCo!!!!❤️🤍❤️

So not long after I made this post the coolest thing happened. A student found a lady bug where she passed it along to anyone who wanted to hold it. Emily of course wanted a pic..so here's an updated with the pic of the ladybug that came to wish us all an a amazing homecoming!!❤️🤍🩷🩷❤️🤍

So about 2-3 months ago we found out that Emily Jonel was getting her wish granted by Make A Wish. Her wish was to get a complete room makeover with a gaming PC. I still have her LED bed with built in shelves and her new 50in TV in the shed along with about 30 books she got but I gotta get her a bookcase. Everything can be setup to be voice/music activated and its all RGB.

Emily has been putting the work in the last fews months and the results are amazing! 10 months ago she was just ya average 15 yr old. running around on the stage during the Hamilton County Troupe 11303's production of Elf Jr. and today she is the embodiment of what it means to be a warrior, a survivor, and the epitome of resilience! We are so proud of her for everything she has overcome so far and all the things she will accomplish in the future! Thanks also goes out to Mr.Daniel & Mrs.Andrea at Wolfson's Childrens Rehab. They have allowed Emily to work her body the way SHE wants and what she feels is best for her. Can't wait to watch this girl walk the graduation stage in May of 2029!

Happy Heavenly Birthday to the beautiful Raven Weise Merine. 209 days ago she slept peacefully away into the arms of Jesus. She is missed more than words can explain. Her light has continued to shine even in her absence. She was an exceptional woman. A woman we will continue to honor and celebrate forever 💗

So as most know last year Emily was admitted to the hospital on her 15th birthday and spent the next 24 consecutive days in the hospital. Needless to say she did not get to celebrate her birthday. The cake I bought her sat on the table for almost a month where I vowed it would remain untouched til she was able to come home and blow out her candles. This year I want yo make it extra special for her especially since it will be her Sweet 16! I have been asked by a few people for a amazon wishlist so I had her make one up with a few gifts she would like for her Sweet 16! If anyone would like to help celebrate our warrior and her upcoming 16th birthday I have attached a link in this post that will take you to her wishlist. Thank you to all the amazing supporters, family & friends who have sent love & parayers through this all! Now that the worst is behind us LETS CELEBRATE THIS GIRLS SWEET 16 AND BEING CANCER FREE!!!

We have big news!!!

Than you so much to Mrs. Maggie Hughes for letting us high jack your VERY delicious homemade carrot cake and Mrs. Denice Land Hughes for letting us come over and enjoy dinner with y'all!!

From here on out Emily Jonel will have to have CT & MRI scans every 3 months, then 6 and eventually yearly. She has been working so hard at PT. This past week she walked over 90ft by herself using a walker. She is gaining more movement every week and though its a very slow process she has been getting more sensations little by little in each leg.

Thank you to everyone for all the love support and prayers over the last year. It has definately been a rollercoaster.

I know Emily is ready and has already started moving towards the next chapter in her book on how to be an absolute warrior!

Emily got to start school with all her fellow classmates and she hasnt missed a beat. Her Flex class is for ASL as she wanted to get a head start on her 2 years learning a language since its needed to get i to Universities,specifically she is wotking towards being accepted in UF. She also hopes to graduate high school with her AA degree which she will hopefully start dual enrollment next year.
