The staff at Wolfson's are an amazing bunch of people. From the nurses who helped care for Emily on the nights she kicked me out 😂 to the volunteers who come by and check to see if she needed anything. As a Gator girl I have always stood behind and trusted the staff of UFShands for any and all of their services but the staff at Wolfsons will always hold a special place in my heart now.💛

When Emily was 1st diagonosed the nurses at Shands gave her a gift card for Hand and Stone Massage & Facial Spa but the one in Gainesville didnt have a oncology massage therapists so I checked here in Jax and found one that did. Yesterday Emily was dealing with severe nerve pain in her right leg which as most of you all know, has been her least dominate leg as far as getting feeling back and while its great knowing that this is a sign that her nerves are finally waking up, as a mom I hate to seeing her in pain almost like she was before this whole journey began. I made an appt with Nemours and we came up with a plan to hopefully help in the future so I dont have to feed her tylenol and Benadryl but in the meantime she has spent the afternoon relaxing while receiving a full body massage with the main focus on her legs and feet as well as a nice little facial. To say Im jealous is an understatement but this girl deserves it after the hell of a fight she has given the last 5 months ❤️

Today we got to spend the afternoon at The Alligator Farm thanks to the Ronald McDonald house. We got to see some cool gators, crocs and other wildlife. It was a lil overcast which kept the sun off us a bit. Then afterwards we headed to the Bricks of Love and Emily got her 3 new Lego sets to build. Now we are at Proton Therapy and then headed back to Rick Donald for Bingo night!

So yesterday thanks to the UF Proton Therapy not only were we able to check out the OG Ripley's Believe it or Not! museum but we also got to go back at 9:30pm and do our very own haunted castle investigation. The greatest part was we had the castle all to ourselves! It was so cool to be able to walk around the museum at night with all the lights and attractions turned off. We found a spirit orb according to the Ripleys employee that you can see in the pics. Me and Emily had such a fun time and we laughed so hard, mainly cause I scared the p*e out of myself(unfortunately thats a literal statement😂) and almost did a second time thanks to Emily Jonel jump scaring me. It was definately worth it!

Today was the day!!! The day she has waited 5 months for, the day that she said goodbye to chemo!! The day she FINALLY got to ring that bell!!! So proud of this girl right here for the fight she gave and for knowing whats best for her and saying "NO MO CHEMO!!". Now to finish out this week & next week with radiation and she is done with treatments all together! 🥹🥹

Had a great day out at Grassy Island and 9 mile sandbar..no sunburns were acquired except by Adam and only a lil bit..she loved the jet ski and Matthew got to try his hand out at paddleboarding

Time to enjoy the day at the sandbar with not friends but family then some delicious dinner with lots of memories 🥰
