I was the theatre kid, dance kid, martial arts kid, fantasy nerd, overachiever, and awkward creative trying to juggle a hundred different worlds at once.
I spent most of my time chasing achievement instead of really feeling like I belonged anywhere, and honestly, I felt incredibly alone for a long time.
Fantasy became my escape. Stories, cosplay, special effects makeup, imaginary worlds… they gave me somewhere to exist when real life felt too heavy.
I needed a place where all the weird, creative, nerdy parts of a person could coexist without needing to shrink any of them to fit in.
